Meals are as much cultural experiences as they are ways to fuel our bodies.

With that in mind, we’ve brought in an Executive Chef whose passion for food filters through every single meal. Each day brings new flavors and old favorites, blending locally sourced products and ingredients with healthy cuisine.

Wherever your tastes lie, you’re sure to find your flavor.

Although our executive chef, Mark Ray, was raised in a small Midwestern town, he actually got his start in the culinary industry as an apprentice in Germany in the mid-1980s!  

After serving our country as an Army Ranger in Iraq, Mark moved to out west to work in fine dining resorts while getting French-trained and earning his degree in Culinary Arts Hotel from the San Diego Culinary Institute.  

This award-winning chef has worked alongside some of the best chefs in the industry including Iron Chef Jose Garces in Scottsdale, Arizona. Chef Mark now calls Petoskey is home! He’s pleased to serve our residents and guest!

Also, we offer made to order and/or continental breakfast & dinner Monday – Saturday and dinner on Sunday.
